@stephanie I love it when the lightbulb moment happens. When you learn to be an "actor" instead of a "Reactor" your life changes dramatically. I am so glad that you found my blog and that it has made a difference for you.

WOW! Josh did it again! Elaine -Love your site. Thank Josh because I clicked here because I love reading his posts and now I have found a site that I needed. I am trying to get more organized, since I just began going back to school online and I work 45 hours+ a week. Let's say time management and organization are now high priorities!
As for the post: Josh- I never used to know what people meant when they said thay everyone chooses how to react. Due to some of my own "its", I have realized that it's true. I thought if someone hurt my feelings, how could I control my reaction? Emotional choices are much harder for me personally because I am reactive and outspoken, but I have learned that I CAN CHOOSE to be hurt and still move on or I can stew and cause myself and my family misery. Either way, I still chose. Yeah- I "get" it now! (insert lightbulb)
I live with chronic pain from disc injuries in 2 car accidents. My pain is something I have learned to live with, so I can relate: you and I and all the people who deal with physical problems out of their control: we survive our pain and deficits and we LIVE. We try to train ourselves to push through it and we do survive. It's trite, but true: surviving "it" make you stronger!
